„Year of the Monkey“ by Blazhevski competes at three renowned Balkan film festivals



The Macedonian comedy “Year of the Monkey," directed by Vladimir Blazhevski, competed in the main competition program of the 25th edition of the European Film Festival in Palic, Serbia. On July 19th, at the ninth edition of Prifest in Pristina the film had its premiere in Kosovo and competed in the category "Honey and Blood" - in which the competitors were several Balkan films. Later this summer, the film will also compete at the film festival in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, which will be held from 1 to 7 August. This film festival is one of the longest traditions of ex-YU region and dates back to 1986.

"Year of the Monkey" had its world premiere at the Moscow International Film Festival, one of the most renowned and oldest film festivals from the A-list, and was also screened at the Shanghai Film Festival - also an A-list film festival.
